Steps To Success Montbello Invites You To Volunteer, Get Involved, And Here Are Ways That You Can Join Us InThe Power Of ONE!

* Come be a part of the Data Workgroup by support data-related needs for the coalition, which includes guiding data collection, sharing, and decision-making. Assist in making changes to the community survey, build connections with Washington Virginia Vale neighborhood, and share results with these stakeholders.

*Come be a part of the Boots On The Ground Community Task Force " Non Violence Team", organized by several Montbello organizations from the RISE Network.

*Come be a part of ramping up literacy resources in our neighborhoods by helping us build little free library site stations within our community.

*Come facilitate our once a week virtual parent talk sessions.

*Come help us create safe spaces and platforms for our youth to have access to professional development/mentoring/ employment and empowerment opportunities, So that they can rise up as leaders and address economic and social disparities for our community.

* Come guide us on realistic action steps that will reduce violence within our community.

* Come be a part of the decision making process of resources who are wanting to come in to provide services for our communities (mental health, schools, food services, etc)

* Come help us diversify our community board to reflect the families and youth that live within our Montbello Community. To include our Black, Latino, LGBTQ, And Youth Communities. All are welcome who live, work, play, pray and love Montbello.

* Help us share The"Power Of One" media campaign and get involve.

* Come represent Steps To Success Montbello as a community collaboration on the Freshlo project.

* The 4th Tuesday of the Month from 4:30- 6:30pm at our community board meeting. We are virtually for now due to COVID-19.When we return to in- person meetings, they will take place at our Montbello Office, located at 12000 E.47th St, 4th floor, Suite 404 Denver,CO 80239

* Or you can join us on The 2nd Tuesday of the month from 3:30pm -5:30pm for our implementation workgroup

Opportunity from DMCI - 6 Community Navigators (1 in Northeast Park Hill and 5 in Montbello)

 

Are you an individual or organization who would like to earn an extra $6,500 ($7000 for organizations) over the next six months?

 

Do you have experience in working to increase equitable access to available resources for residents experiencing economic crisis, particularly those at risk of losing their housing?

 

Do you have about 30 hours per month over the next six months?

 

Do you have a network of 100+ residents and/or small businesses in Northeast Park Hill and/or Montbello who would be interested in talking with you about programs providing economic and social support?

Community Navigators are individuals who have deep ties and experience in Montbello and/or Northeast Park Hill. They are tasked with performing community engagement and will carry out the following:

-Lead five (5), one-hour Community Dialogues, hosting 8-12 community members at each to share project information and discuss community experiences and issues

-Complete six (6) 1-on-1 conversations with community members

-Assist six (6) individuals/households in completing applications for emergency assistance programming

-Be available to answer questions and provide resource navigation for community members
